About The Brief: Calm News

A finite, evidence-led iOS news app designed to reduce doomscrolling.

The Brief is a live iPhone and iPad news product for readers who want to stay informed without an endless, emotionally manipulative feed. Users choose their regions, topics and daily story count, then read a finite briefing with calm, balanced and progress-focused presentation modes. The app includes source attribution, update history, uncertainty labels, saved stories, intensity and graphic-content controls, and Sign in with Apple. A subscription flow is already implemented. The sale includes the iOS and iPadOS source code, App Store listing and bundle, brand assets, production content infrastructure configuration and subscription setup, plus a reasonable technical handover. Growth routes include newsletters, partnerships with wellbeing creators, App Store optimisation and a strong anti-doomscrolling positioning.
