TS Upgrade Impact - Sell Project

TS Upgrade Impact is a GitHub Marketplace Action and CLI for detecting TypeScript breaking changes caused by npm dependency upgrades. Instead of reporting every change in a dependency, it compares TypeScript declaration files and maps those changes against APIs actually used by the consumer repository. This helps developers identify upgrade breakage that is relevant to their own code. The project includes: • Published GitHub Marketplace Action • CLI tool • TypeScript Compiler API / AST-based analysis engine • Automatic dependency version detection from pull requests • Detection of removed exports and members • Function signature / arity compatibility checks • Consumer-code usage filtering • GitHub Actions integration and automated tests • Zero server infrastructure and effectively zero hosting cost The project has also been tested against real open-source repositories. In one Zod 3 → Zod 4 validation case, TS Upgrade Impact predicted 27 breaking API names, and all 27 appeared in the TypeScript compiler error output after the dependency was actually upgraded. Because the repository is already MIT licensed and public, the buyer is not purchasing exclusive rights to previously published source code.
