BitTrack is a habit-tracking web app built as a single-page React application (loaded via CDN + Babel, no build step). Users sign in with Google (Firebase Auth) and track daily habits in a GitHub-style grid, with data synced in real time via Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database. Core features: Habit grid tracking — monthly calendar grid where users check off habits day by day, with automatic streak calculation and completion percentages Categories & color coding — habits are tagged by category with distinct colors reflected throughout the UI Insights & analytics — a dedicated insights view showing per-habit progress bars, a trend chart of daily completions, and category breakdowns Calendar view — a full calendar visualization of check-offs To-do list — a lightweight, separate task list alongside habit tracking Study roadmap — an AI-assisted (Gemini API) study/session planner with toggleable sessions Notifications — real-time read/dismissed notification state synced across devices via Realtime Database Cloud sync — all user state (habits, todos, plans) persists to Firestore per-user, with live subscription updates across tabs/devices Light/dark themes — with multiple accent color options (mint, violet, blue, amber), persisted locally Search & filtering across habits Tech stack: React (via CDN/Babel, no bundler), Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Realtime Database), vanilla CSS with CSS custom properties for theming, Google Gemini API integration for the roadmap feature.
