MateNiva - Showcase Project

MateNiva is a flatmate-finding platform built for students and young professionals moving to a new city for college, internships, jobs, or a fresh start. Finding a room is often easier than finding the right person to share it with. People usually depend on scattered WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities, friends, or random listings, where compatibility is difficult to judge. MateNiva focuses on the human side of shared living. Users can discover potential flatmates based on factors such as lifestyle, daily habits, preferences, budget, location, and living expectations. The goal is to make the process of finding someone you can genuinely live comfortably with simpler and more meaningful. We believe a flatmate is not just another person occupying the other side of a room. They can become the person you share your first meal in a new city with, the person you come home to after a difficult day, and sometimes the first friend you make away from home. MateNiva is built around a simple idea: Don't just find a place to live. Find your kind of person to live with. Our long-term vision is to become a trusted everyday companion for people living away from home—helping them not only find the right flatmate, but gradually make life in a new city feel more like home.
