MolSketch is a production-ready, browser-based chemical structure editor built for researchers, university students, educators, and chemistry professionals. Since launching in April 2026, the platform has grown organically to approximately 2,000 monthly users and around 50 registered users, with no paid advertising. This early traction demonstrates demand for a simple, accessible alternative to traditional installed chemical drawing software. Users can create and edit chemical structures directly in the browser without installing any software. Structures can be drawn manually or generated from compound names, CAS numbers, SMILES, and uploaded chemical structure images using OCR. Key features include: Browser-based chemical structure drawing and editing Chemical structure recognition from uploaded images Structure generation from compound names, CAS numbers, and SMILES Flexible editing of atoms, bonds, rings, labels, colors, and display styles PNG and SVG export Drawing history and structure management Google authentication and cross-device access for registered users Built-in chemical structure library Built-in chemistry blog and content management system Admin dashboard with user management and analytics Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile interface Multilingual support across Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, German, Spanish, and French MolSketch is currently pre-revenue. Monetization has intentionally not yet been implemented, leaving significant upside for a buyer. Potential monetization opportunities include a Pro subscription, higher usage limits, developer APIs for chemical structure processing, an embeddable chemical editor for third-party products, premium cloud storage and exports, and continued expansion of SEO-focused chemistry content. The business is lightweight to operate and has grown without paid acquisition. The sale includes the production codebase, MolSketch domain, brand assets, website content, admin system, and associated product data. I am selling the project because I have limited time to continue developing and growing it alongside other commitments. The product is already live and operational, giving a buyer an existing user base and a ready-made foundation for monetization and further growth.
