About SpectroDraw
Interactive spectrogram editor for creating, editing, and transforming sound.
SpectroDraw is an interactive spectrogram editor that allows users to visually edit, create, and transform sound. Instead of working only with traditional waveforms, users can draw directly onto a spectrogram and hear the result, making it possible to create unusual sound effects, melodies, textures, and other audio from visual shapes. The platform includes a free web version and SpectroDraw pro, which adds advanced tools such as sprites, layers, selection and cloning, synth brushes, pitch and time alignment, filters, expressions, piano mode, a piano roll, and more. It can also be used for noise removal, midi extraction, sound design, and experimental audio manipulation. SpectroDraw makes money primarily through sales of SpectroDraw pro, its paid version. The business uses a generous free version to attract users and encourage experimentation, while pro provides additional creative and professional features. To date, SpectroDraw has generated $492.94 in revenue from 14 pro sales, with approximately $383 in profit after expenses. The current model has prioritized growing the user base over maximizing short-term revenue, leaving opportunities for a future owner to experiment with pricing, trials, paid-only access, or other monetization strategies. The primary users are audio engineers, sound designers, and music producers, but the vast majority of SpectroDraw's more than 33,000 users are hobbyists using the free version. Users are drawn to the software because it provides an unusual and accessible way to experiment with sound. It has particular applications in creative sound design, music production, audio cleanup, midi and music transcription, game and film audio, and experimental projects. Its visual workflow also makes it useful for learning and teaching concepts such as frequency analysis and the relationship between visual spectrograms and sound. The sale includes the complete SpectroDraw business and the technology required to continue operating and developing it. This includes the source code for the web application and audio plugin, the website and domain, branding and other digital assets, existing customer and user data where transferable, product documentation, analytics, and the associated business infrastructure. The buyer will also receive transition assistance, including walkthroughs of the frontend, backend, payment system, and codebase, demonstrations of the product's functionality, and ongoing support to help the new owner take over development and operations.

Reason for selling
I've spent nearly all of my free time over the past year building SpectroDraw. As I enter my junior year of high school, I’ve realized that I can’t realistically dedicate the next several years to growing the business while balancing school and pursuing other projects aligned with my long-term goals. Rather than let SpectroDraw sit idle, I’d like to pass it on to someone who can continue developing and growing what I’ve built.
