About PinkNote

Notes + reminders app with an encrypted vault. No backend, no running costs.

Finished notes and reminders app for iOS and Android, built from a single Expo / React Native codebase and ready to publish. What makes it unusual is what it doesn't have: no backend, no user accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics and no third-party services of any kind. Everything is stored locally in SQLite on the device. For a buyer that means an app with zero running costs, nothing to operate or scale, no data-breach surface, and no GDPR data-controller obligations — the app truthfully collects nothing, which also makes both stores' privacy questionnaires trivial. Feature set: • Note plus alarm in about three taps, with a movable quick-add button • Local alarms with per-note repeat-until-acknowledged, exact-time scheduling on Android via a custom config plugin, and mark-done / snooze from the notification • Private vault: notes encrypted at rest with XChaCha20-Poly1305, PIN hashed into the OS keystore, biometric unlock, recovery key, auto re-lock on backgrounding, and notifications that never reveal private content • Voice notes, freehand drawing and photo attachments • Drag-and-drop lists, month calendar with agenda, colored days, named periods • Backup export and import, fully offline, dark-only iOS-inspired design • Localized in English, Spanish and French Launch status: the Android build is live in Google Play closed testing; iOS has not been submitted yet. There are no users — this is a pre-launch asset, and the buyer keeps all of the launch upside. Also included: complete store listing copy in English and Spanish, six framed screenshots per store, feature graphic, 512px icon, a hosted privacy policy and an EAS build pipeline already configured for both platforms. That is several weeks of launch work the buyer does not have to redo.

Next step: The app is deliberately free with no monetization, which leaves the entirerevenue model open to the buyer: • Paid unlock or a Pro tier — the private vault, voice notes, drawing and the calendar are natural premium features, and the free/paid split needs no backend to enforce• Home screen widgets and a Wear OS / Apple Watch companion — the fastest way to compound the app's core promise of capturing a note in seconds• Optional end-to-end encrypted sync as the flagship paid feature; the encryption layer is already built and the data model is designed for it• Theme packs beyond the current pink dark mode• More languages — the app is fully localized and adding a locale is a text file• ASO and paid acquisition: "private notes with PIN" and "reminder that repeats until done" are searched-for niches that the big note apps do not serve Because there is no backend, every one of these ships without adding a singledollar of running cost.

Reason for selling

I built PinkNote to a finished state but I don't have the time or the setup to run the launch, the marketing and the long-term support it deserves. I'd rather it go to someone who can take it to market than have it sit unpublished.
