In 1996, I had the opportunity to work alongside Josh Harris (we live in public) at Pseudo Programs during the early days of streaming television. That experience shaped the direction of my career and sparked a question I've been chasing ever since:What if television had been built on the web instead of around traditional broadcasting?Over the years I've led technology teams, served as CTO of an internet company during the early web, and developed software for companies including Sony (PlayStation Portable), NBC Interactive, and Levi's. Those experiences ultimately led me back to the idea that first inspired me nearly three decades ago.Podcast Television is the result.Imagine if OBS, Twitch, and a television network were combined into a single browser-based platform. A creator can launch an entire live television channel from their own website, complete with an AI Co-Pilot, production studio, electronic program guide (EPG), real-time graphics, picture-in-picture, web widgets, chat, shopping, companion experiences, and interactive overlays that can be added, moved, or removed while the broadcast is already live.This isn't just a prototype. The platform has been under development for years. We've had real beta users, real clients, real-world testing, and generated revenue while refining the technology. Those experiences helped shape the product and prove there is genuine interest in a different approach to streaming and interactive television.Now we're at an inflection point.The foundation is built. The software works. The intellectual property has been filed. The demos are live.
