About IcyZip
Pair two browsers by QR code to move encrypted text or one file, no account.
IcyZip pairs two browsers by scanning a QR code or opening a pairing link, then moves live text and one selected file between devices. It works on phones, laptops, tablets, and desktops without account registration or app installation. It is built for quick ad-hoc handoffs when cloud storage, email attachments, or messenger logins would be slower. Current browser clients encrypt live text and file bytes before they leave the browser. The service relays the encrypted traffic and still sees operational metadata such as timing, connection details, message sizes, and file metadata. Recent Android work makes long-lived sessions recover after sleep or network changes, replaces expired pairings with a fresh QR code, and adds an in-page camera scanner for IcyZip QR codes.
