About QuickTax
67-country tax, take-home pay, salary comparison and relocation engine
Key Highlights Buyer-owned global salary calculation and relocation engine covering 67 countries and territories. QuickTax calculates estimated gross-to-net salary, net-to-gross salary, taxes, employee contributions, effective tax rate and detailed deductions across 67 country configurations. The product also includes: • Actual take-home pay calculations from gross salary • Net-to-gross / gross-up calculations for target take-home amounts • Global salary comparison across countries using independent salary inputs • Relocation planning comparing salary, taxes, living costs, FX and required destination compensation • Batch calculations for up to 100 scenarios using CSV or JSON • Embeddable JavaScript engine with ESM, CommonJS and TypeScript declarations • Buyer-operated REST API with API-key authentication, validation, rate limiting and request tracking • Country methodology and source references showing how each calculation is structured • Tax-source change monitoring with review workflows for maintaining country rules • Shared calculation engine across the browser demo, API and distributable engine The product is designed as a software and intellectual property acquisition, not as a seller-operated SaaS business. Operations The product does not require staff or customer support to operate as a standalone software asset. The buyer receives the source code and operates the deployment using their own infrastructure, domains, credentials and integration environment. The browser calculator runs locally using the compiled calculation engine. The REST API can be deployed on the buyer’s own server or container infrastructure, or the buyer can embed the calculation engine directly into an existing JavaScript/TypeScript product. There is no dependency on the seller’s Stripe account, database, hosted API, or credentials. The buyer remains responsible for hosting, security configuration, tax-rule review, production monitoring and ongoing maintenance. Customers / Ideal Acquirer QuickTax is pre-revenue and has no existing customer base to transfer. The strongest potential acquirers are companies that already have customers making decisions around: Compensation → hiring → salary offers → international workforce planning → employee take-home pay → relocation. Potential acquirers include: • Compensation and total-rewards platforms • Recruiting and offer-management platforms • Global mobility and relocation platforms • Workforce planning and labor-market intelligence companies • HR technology companies • Fintech and employment infrastructure companies • Software companies looking to embed salary/tax calculations into an existing product The buyer can use QuickTax internally, expose the functionality through its own product, or develop its own commercial offering around the calculation engine. Financials Pre-revenue. QuickTax is being sold as a source-code and intellectual property acquisition, not as a revenue-generating SaaS business. There are no existing subscriptions, recurring customer contracts or customer data to migrate. The value is in the software asset itself: the 67-country calculation engine, reusable API and embeddable engine, comparison and relocation workflows, batch processing, source documentation, maintenance infrastructure, tests and deployment-ready source tree. Additional Note The calculation engine is intentionally positioned as an estimate engine, not as certified global payroll or tax-compliance software. The codebase contains country-specific limitations and disclosures, and full independent validation of every country, year and taxpayer scenario has not been completed. This makes the asset particularly suitable for a buyer that wants to: integrate the engine into an existing product, choose its own approved countries/scenarios, independently validate the jurisdictions it needs, and operate the system under its own standards. No claim is made that QuickTax replaces payroll processing, tax filing, payments, payslips or legal/tax advisory services. How This Project Was Built QuickTax is structured around a reusable TypeScript calculation engine. The architecture separates: Tax engine → HTTP API → demonstration interface The calculation engine is the source of truth and is shared by the browser demonstration, REST API and distributable ESM/CommonJS builds. Each country configuration contains its supported years, jurisdiction inputs, additional fields, inclusions, exclusions, calculation logic and version information. The project includes: • React frontend • TypeScript calculation engine • Express REST API • Dynamic country/jurisdiction forms • CSV/JSON batch workflows • Gross-up / net-to-gross solver • Relocation calculation engine • Source-backed relocation data support • Country methodology and evidence records • Automated tests and calculation scenario sweeps • GitHub Actions CI • Docker deployment definition • Tax-source monitoring infrastructure Technical Verification The current source tree inclu...
