About Research Match
Write emails to professors for research positions.
Researchmatch (researchmatch.site) helps students land university research positions by solving the two hardest parts: finding the right professors and writing cold emails that actually get replies. Students search by research interest and university, get ai-generated summaries of each professor's work with suggested questions and email guidance, and can check their drafts against an email checker built around the advice of 20+ real professors. The tool should not be able to hallucinate due to strict prompts and its api connection to openalex. Very intuitive to use too. I started it two months ago after seeing how many students either never reach out to professors or send generic emails that get deleted, and validated it fast: paying customers in the first weeks, a creator video that semi-virally drove a spike of sales, and steady organic growth since.
