Ballcast - Sell Project

Note: That this is a desktop build I created. It's not hosted anywhere. Which is why I put "http://nowebsite.com/". I'm been running it using npm run dev in the terminal. Ballcast — MLB Hit Prediction & Matchup Intelligence Dashboard A daily-driver web app for MLB bettors, fantasy players, and analysts. Pulls live MLB Stats API data into a clean, color-coded dashboard that surfaces the day's starting lineups, pitcher matchups, advanced batter metrics (AVG / OBP / SLG / ISO / K% / BB% / BB/K / Barrel%), recent hit-game form (L5 / L10), bookmaker hit O/U probabilities, and AI-generated "best hit pick of the day" calls with reasoning. Built around three core jobs: At-a-glance scouting — every starting batter, color-tiered against league benchmarks, with one-click access to a deep matchup card (radar charts, recent starts, pitcher weakness flags, opposing-team splits). Hit predictions — sends curated batter+pitcher+weather context to an LLM (via OpenRouter) and returns a single ranked pick per game with reasoning, plus pitcher-handedness weakness detection. Form tracking — live hit-rate over the last 5 and 10 games per batter, color-coded so hot streaks jump off the page. Includes admin page, password-gated config, predictions history with localStorage persistence, dark-mode-friendly UI, mobile + desktop layouts, ESPN player profile deep-links (3,300+ player ID mappings), and cached MLB headshot lookups. Production-ready, type-safe end-to-end, and shipped as a Next.js standalone server.
