Atlas26 — A Real-Time 3D Solar System in the Browser
Atlas26 is a real-time 3D space visualization built using Three.js and Next.js. Unlike traditional animations, the system is time-driven, meaning planetary motion, satellites, and minor bodies evolve continuously based on a global time controller. Features: Real-time orbital mechanics (planets, moons, comets) Asteroid belt + Kuiper belt simulation Artificial satellites (ISS, HST) with real-world positioning Time control system (speed / pause) Device-aware performance scaling The goal of this project is to create a "living" digital model of the solar system that users can explore interactively.
