Restore Old Photos: FotoRevive - Showcase Project

FotoRevive is a native iOS application powered by advanced AI, designed to help users instantly restore, enhance, and breathe new life into vintage or damaged family photographs. The Backstory (Why I built it) As an indie developer, I built this side project because I was frustrated by the current market of photo restoration apps. Most existing tools (like Remini) are either overly expensive, locked behind heavy subscription models, or cluttered with intrusive ads. I wanted to create a clean, lightweight, and affordable alternative specifically optimized for the Apple ecosystem. Core Features: Instant Damage Repair: Automatically detects and removes physical scratches, tears, creases, and fading from scanned prints. B&W Colorization: Intelligently injects vibrant, natural, and historically plausible colors into monochrome memories. Face Enhancement: Sharpens blurred or low-resolution faces, revealing hidden details with stunning clarity. Photo Animation (Bring to Life): Applies subtle, realistic facial movements to static portraits, generating a short video effect that brings ancestors and loved ones back to life. Who is it for? It's built for everyday users, family historians, and anyone looking to digitize and preserve their family legacy directly from their iPhone or iPad, without needing complex desktop software like Photoshop.
