The detectorist - Sell Project

The story: This website was initially started back in 2014 and since then I kept on growing the site with a simple strategy and with a simple and organic tactic which worked fine for me. I did experiments with different "cool" technologies and plugins in Wordpress and every time I learned something new and this helped website grow. This site requires 1-4 hours maintenance per month, you don't even have to make new posts, the task that you have to do is to approve comments and to answers to visitors. I found that leaving bad comments as well actually helped me get better results and users got a real feeling for the product as well. So, even if it sometimes seemed like it was going to hurt sales, I actually improved overall. Answering comments helped me grow organically the website and I got featured on other sites and I kept getting Facebook shares and some traffic from other social media as well as more organic traffic. What directions are good for this website: If you know how to sell a product on Amazon in this niche I think you can make a really nice profit, because you have a constant flow of highly niched traffic in the metal detectors category. Accessories are a big thing and I didn't focus on them, so it can be another source of development. Create newer posts and keep users more engaged. I didn't send a single email to my subscribed users. Why I plan on selling: It's been a great journey so far and now I'm looking to do a bigger project in real estate.
