About Store Pickup
A Shopify plugin that lets retail stores offer an instore pickup
Store pickup is a Shopify app with >110 monthly customers each paying $10 each. It works by appending some information to the merchants cart which can trigger an instore pickup shipping method, as well as being able to capture extra information about the customer such as the name of the person collecting, the date of collection and their phone number. The app was launched in July this year. Shortly after I started a new position which made it a pretty clear conflict of interest. Because of this I've had a grace period to sell the app and have not done any updates since the initial release. It's grown organically through being listed in the app store to it's current state and continues to grow. Current work involved to maintain it is <5 emails a week on average to help people install or address concerns they might have. All of which have been documented to address in the future.
