About joustme.io
Joust your friends off of their ostrich in this multiplayer arcade platform-brawler
joustme.io Joust your friends off of their ostrich in joustme.io. This game pits you against your buddies in the ultimate test of strength, will, and internet speed. Made with the leading HTML5 game framework, Phaser.js, alongside battle-proven server technologies Node.js & socket.io, joustme.io is the perfect game to play on your lunch break. The goal is simple: joust your opponent off of their mount by slamming into one another in grand fashion. With two different gamemodes - 1vs1 (duel) and king-of-the-hill (oddball) - players can conquer their opponents in the mode that best suits them. The game has been specifically designed with social sharing in mind with private games available for all users. Simply start a private game, enter the lobby, and share the link that appears on your screen. With the click of a link your friends can join you in the arena - it's that simple! With Google sign-in integration, tracking your progress is as easy as linking your GMail account. The potential of joustme.io is as wide as the effort put into it. It's the perfect candidate to become the next big hit in the '.io' market. Why sell it? I am focused on another side project at the time (more of a SaaS product) and no longer have time for joustme.io Costs Hosting only Game modes This project was designed to be easily extended in terms of playability. Game modes are an object that is used and passed around on the server. Creating a new game mode is as easy as adding a new file, defining its parameters, and hooking it up on the frontend.
