Simple AI mushroom identifier that gives quick mushroom ID reports from photos
Mushroom Identification is a lightweight web tool I built as a mushroom enthusiast who wanted a faster way to compare field mushrooms with reference species. Instead of scrolling through guides or forums, you can upload a few clear photos—cap, gills, stem, base—and the AI returns a mushroom identification summary with possible species matches, toxicity warnings, and visually similar species you should double-check. It’s not meant to be a final authority but a learning and comparison assistant. Think of it as a reference companion: a way to bring AI-powered pattern recognition into real mushroom observation habits.
