Python based booking site for allen county in ohio
ArrestedOhio.com is a ready-to-launch mugshot publishing site focused on Allen County, Ohio. This project includes a custom-built Python scraper that extracts detailed inmate records directly from the sheriff’s website, including full names, charges, bond amounts, booking dates, and mugshot images. The system automatically downloads and organizes both thumbnail and full-resolution mugshots, supports optional watermarking, and is designed for easy expansion to additional counties. The site is perfect for: Entrepreneurs looking to build a statewide arrest records platform News startups targeting crime, safety, or legal content Affiliate marketing, legal services, or SMS alerts SEO and social traffic monetization 🧰 What’s Included: ArrestedOhio.com domain name (.com) Fully working Python scraper for Allen County (uses Selenium + BeautifulSoup) Mugshot image downloader and auto-watermark tool Folder structure & automation-ready scripts Optional: WordPress frontend (if buyer wants a prebuilt display site) Setup help + walkthrough of how it works ⚙️ Tech Stack: Python 3.x Selenium BeautifulSoup pandas VPS-ready (currently runs on Ubuntu 22.04) 🎯 Potential: This project is an MVP for a full-scale mugshot data site (think BustedMugshots, MugshotsZone, etc.) but focused hyper-locally. Next step: <p>There are about six different systems that jail sites use across Ohio. You would have to find out all the rest of the 88 counties.
