About Rides motorcycle tours
Route planning for the 21st century
Rides is a route planning App focusing around motorcyclists, roadster drivers and everyone going on the road for fun and recreation. In an echo of using route lists and paper maps stored in a tank back as it is still often used by riders, rides allows you to lay out your route directly by tapping waypoints on the map on your device. While on a ride, you will see your planned out route and your current location with one glance on the map so you can get back as fast as possible to what we rider's are all about: enjoying a distraction free ride. In addition, if you are riding from the top of your head and don't want to plan out your route in front, you can use Rides to create a GPS track of your route, so you can review and show it later on. We have just released our first version with the features described above and are still having many ambitious ideas for future versions. Some to highlight are turn by turn navigation for a route, integration with wearables and headup displays and recommending routes matching the rider's specific riding style (backed by an AI based on previous rides).
