About All in one Meter
The idea of this project was to build advice that allows users to visually check all the House ́s consumptions on one screen. Instead of having one meter per commodity (Gas, water, electricity) only one device will be needed.
The idea of this project was to build advice that allows users to visually check all the House ́s consumptions on one screen. Instead of having one meter per commodity (Gas, water, electricity) only one device will be needed. I have chosen to focus on the simplicity in terms of usage. It is one module which shows you your daily consumptions in the mobile application with the real-time reading, which are in form of Electricity(power), Gas and Water. Here we have collected data without tampering with Meter. It is made with Raspberry Pi 3 and other three sensors which name are TCS3200 Colour Sensor for Electricity, TCRT5000 Reflective Infrared Sensor for Gas and last YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor for water. Our goal is to Measure each flows separately, Transmit data to a central hub, the Minimum distance between sensors and central hub of 5m, Store data to compare in future.
