Hey everyone!
I'm excited to introduce Sophon, a new AI-powered Chrome extension sidebar designed to elevate your browsing experience by intelligently understanding and interacting with your open tabs.
I created Sophon because I was frustrated with existing sidebar applications that didn't fully leverage the browser's capabilities, offered a poor user experience, and lacked streaming, proper Markdown rendering, and seamless integration.
Like Cursor.ai, Sophon's intelligent composer can see your open tabs, enabling it to understand context and auto-fill forms, textboxes, or fields with just a single click.
You can use Sophon to enhance your writing, get instant definitions, ask questions, or find a study buddy to assist with research.
Sophon supports Markdown, LaTeX, and code, making it a versatile tool for developers, researchers, and writers alike. The composer is toggled with a simple shortcut: Alt + L.
