About Chatter

Real-time, context-based comments for websites

Chatter allows people to add inline comments to each paragraph of their articles on a website. It's simple to install (just adding a single javascript file to the HTML) and everything is handled off-site, so it works even on static HTML pages. It's currently being used on the following sites: everydaydesigner.net devinhalladay.com japborst.net molovo.co (my portfolio and blog) There are plans to add additional features such as allowing users to submit related articles, integrate with their own GoSquared and Google Analytics accounts, as well as a mailing list (called Chatter Digests) sending out the 5 most popular links on the network each day/week.

Who they are looking for

I'm a designer and developer, not a businessman. I'm looking for someone to help me handle the customer-facing side of the project - marketing, bringing in new users, and uncovering new features for me to develop, so that together we can start bringing in some revenue. If you can design/code as well that would be a huge bonus.<br/><br/>The business is not yet registered, as it's just a small side-project, but I'm hoping that this will become a self-sustaining business. I'm offering a 40% share of all profits to the right person.
