About Splash Match
Splash Match is a new dating app that promotes transparency in its algorithm.
Splash Match aims to reinvent the dating market when it launches March 21st by emphasizing transparency and simplicity in its matching algorithm. The only thing that determines if a user will be shown on a users' feed (other than age, distance, and sexuality) is a 50% match on a category alignment quiz taken upon sign-up that aims to understand an individual on a personal level, deeper than the surface level. Some other features are AI-first message assistance - AI scans match's profile and generates 3 potential conversation starters and weekly Virtual Speed Dating events - each Friday at 8pm, users can join a speed dating event and have 2 minute chats with people in their area. Another key feature set is the subscription offering - subscriptions are inexpensive and do not impact the behavior of the algorithm, and also, the app is gamified, allowing users to purchase or earn premium features.
