About Child Memories Journal

An iOS and macOS app to quickly store all the funny things your kids say.

Child Memories Journal is an iOS and macOS app to quickly note all the funny and adorable things your kids say or do. You can easily store quotes, provide context or describe an adorable moment you experienced with your children. The app syncs seamlessly via iCloud to all your devices and provides the user a beautiful user interface as well as refined mechanics for quick note taking. Besides that the app provides various features like birthday/age tracking for a given moment and superb search functionality to provide a better user experience than other note apps.

Next step:
In my opinion this app has a lot potential for further refinements. F.e. sharing a journal via CloudKit sharing with your partner/wife/husband would be useful. Storing images next to quotes/text could also be very useful or an option to store explicit milestones like (took his first steps, etc.). You could also make a corporation with some printing service to print books with quotes and images of your kids. If you decide to buy this project I am always open to discuss whether and how I can help you with something like this if you want. I think a subscription model would be very sensible for this app as it provides ongoing value to the user and is used regularly by the users.

Reason for selling

I am selling this project because I am busy with other things and no longer have time to maintain this project. Due to time constraints taking care of my two children I never published this app to the App Store.
