Horse breeder's stallion directory
A directory of horse ads/listings. Started in 2008. Neglected since about 2011. Made money from 5 PayPal registrations in the first months ($24.99 or €24.20 each). Then switched to affiliate marketing and AdSense to focus on building a database (see numbers below). A minimal knowledge about horse (pet) breeding is a plus, but not necessary. Advice/introduction can be provided with sale. Strong points: Users are used to pay for listings. Switch from AdSense to user payments would be an obvious step to take. Traffic is easy to restore. Credit card usage is common for users. Niche which is not too crowded, especially not worldwide. Each stallion is usually listed for 5 - 10 years. Making €1000 per month within a year should be the base goal with current database.
