Trying to decide a name for a website, app or other project? Good names are difficult to come up with. And if you've found one: have you considered what your potential name might mean in another language? What if it's something obscene? WordSafety.com is a web app that checks input against swear words and unwanted associations in 19 languages. The algorithm also does phonetic matching, so you can catch pronounciations that might be problematic. - The site was launched in August 2015 and got 79,000 pageviews in its first month. When it launched, it got some media attention, which has given the site quite good search engine ranking: it is a top-3 Google result for most of the relevant keywords and search phrases. - This sale also includes the domain BabyNameCheck.com. There currently isn't an active site on that domain, but it's a great opportunity, as you can easily reuse the name check algorithm from WordSafety.com. Just make a new design for checking baby names, and you have a site that every new parent will want to check out!
