To qualify, individuals must become bona fide residents of Puerto Rico and comply with various rules, including spending at least 183 days per year on the island. Act 60 isn't for everyone. Because of high compliance fees and other factors, many United States mainlanders will find that they actually lose money by relocating from their home state. This calculator was built to helps entrepreneurs determine their real ROI, by comparing their savings in Puerto Rico to their current state. It accounts for federal and state income tax, state corporate tax, and other factors. This is my first react web application, and I built it simply to learn react.

Next step: This was originally going to be a lead generation site. <ul><li>Drive PPC traffic to the tool (Using keywords such as "Act 60 Puerto Rico" or "Puerto Rico Tax Incentives.") Based on my research, those keywords have good volume and low competition (CPCs).</li></ul> <ul><li>Let the user type in their income info, etc.</li></ul> <ul><li>If there's significant savings from the calculator, have a popup that takes their contact email, for a "free relocation consultation."</li></ul> <ul><li>Sell that lead to local law firms & relocation services in Puerto Rico that specialize in those incentives.</li></ul>
