Act 60, also known as the Puerto Rico Incentives Code, was established to promote economic development in Puerto Rico. The key benefits include a 4% corporate tax rate and 0% tax on dividends. To qualify, individuals must become bona fide residents of Puerto Rico and comply with various rules, including spending at least 183 days per year on the island.
Act 60 isn't for everyone. Because of high compliance fees and other factors, many United States mainlanders will find that they actually lose money by relocating from their home state.
This calculator was built to helps entrepreneurs determine their real ROI, by comparing their savings in Puerto Rico to their current state. It accounts for federal and state income tax, state corporate tax, and other factors.
This is my first react web application, and I built it simply to learn react.
