About RENLEN

Online rental and resale business for designer clothes

Hi everyone! My business partner and I have made the tough decision to end our online rental and resale business RENLEN. We still believe in the business idea and believe it can take off, especially within Australian markets but unfortunately, we have both taken different career paths leaving little time to commit to a business. We have our brand and brand guideline, a website that I’ve built on Webflow, (which needs some design work and potentially a back-end developer to continue the rental side of the business), 1800 followers on IG, our domain name and 23 pieces of designer rental inventory. We pivoted to resale as we saw this as a larger market opportunity in Australia which we believe is still growing. We took inspiration from Melbourne-based consignment store, Goodbyes and US e-commerce rental site Rent the Runway. We initially made a few sales and rentals but as we haven’t been able to keep up with social media or other digital marketing due to time constraints.
