The technology behind Fyona.ai

Text and graphics

Fyona.ai uses the advanced OpenAI (ChatGPT) API to generate text and the Dreamstudio API to generate personalized images based on either properties or an uploaded photo. Both are efficient, cost-effective, and offer numerous custom control options.

Development Frameworks

Our platform is developed using PHP in the Laravel framework and as a single page application in the VueJS framework. These established frameworks make it easy to recruit developers for future expansion.

Backend & Dynamic Extension

A robust backend allows us to keep track of all relevant data and dynamically customize the platform. Thanks to our prompt engine and specialized scripting language, user requests are transformed into customized, personalized text & images.

Costs

Operating the platform is cost-effective and can be scaled up technically without any problems. The generation of a complete book costs on average about 0.10 - 0.20 USD. With a sales price of the digital version in the form of a PDF for 5 USD, the margins are really high!

Print on Demand

While there is not yet a direct connection to a print-on-demand service, all the arrangements are in place. A print-ready, high-resolution 300 DPI version of the book can be easily generated.

Currently there are 2 book types: 

 - Children's books: Cinderella, Snow White & Jack and the Beanstalk.

 - Kitsch novels: History & Regency, Vampires & Werewolves & Kinky Suspense

Backend Features

How is a book composed? In the backend, a book can be configured in many ways:

Moral:

What is the moral of the book? Friendship, optimism in children's books, just to name a few examples.

Layouts:

What should the book look like? Cover graphics, colors.

Cover Illustrations:

What are the types of illustrations? e.g. watercolor, digital painting, manga, ...

Book Illustrations:

The software automatically determines which book illustration matches the chapter.

Chapter:

Defaults can be made for chapters so that the story follows a clear strand.

Subtypes:

Using special book classifications, multiple subtypes can be created in a wizard, e.g. Snow White & Cinderella in a Fairytale wizard.

Plotlines:

Plotlines can be used to provide a framework for the story to achieve better results.

Character Sets:

Character Sets define the characters that should appear in a story and can be influenced by the user.

Character Properties:

Characters can be assigned to a book type, which can be freely configured by the visitors. You define which options are available for selection: Eye color, hair color, gender, hair types, personality, beards, body characteristics, extras like glasses, freckles, ..

Prompts:

All of the above information can be dynamically inserted into the prompts scripts.
