About Up: Anonymously Spread Kindness
UP, is an app to anonymously spread kindness. Anonymity apps like Yik Yak, Whisper and After School have been used to bully and break people down, and I wanted to create a simple app that could inspire and uplift.
Up is a simple app with a huge mission -- to make the world a better place. UP, allows you to anonymously send positive and encouraging messages to your phone contacts. Anonymous kindness is the best kind. It frees the recipient from embarrassment and the burden of feeling any need to reciprocate. Additionally, performing acts of kindness, without the desire to ever receive recognition or reward is the ultimate. Anonymity can be a powerful thing when it’s used for good.
