Selling a project I have been working on on-and-off for the past year. It is still in development but there is a strong framework for a highly profitable business. Looking to sell in a timely manner so don't hesitate to make an offer.
Freecom is a service that works with new or existing brands as clients and helps them move into the e-commerce space, whether that be as a new e-commerce brand or a brick-and-mortar store starting in e-commerce. As opposed to traditional e-commerce web or brand development agencies that will charge an (often exorbitant) upfront fee for their services, Freecom develops the website and branding free of charge. Instead, Freecom takes a revenue percentage of the store and offers brands a tailored approach that covers all major aspects of the client's business.
We have seen excellent results with our initial testing for the Freecom business model. We have worked with two businesses that were starting in the e-commerce space and agreed to work with Freecom when we were in beta testing for 6 months. We built their e-commerce store and assisted with their branding. These stores returned a combined $42,100 USD (combined) in the 6-month time frame that they were contracted for a revenue split of Freecom. The revenue split for these stores was 95-5%, meaning Freecom retained 5% of the total revenue of both stores (approx. $42,100 USD) - leaving us with $2,105 USD. Our initial investment for each store was $245 USD (this is with almost all tasks being done by freelancers), meaning that in these two instances Freecom has a 329.59% ROI per store in a 6-month period and a 1,745.49% annual ROI per store.
The only major hurdle I have had with Freecom is scalability. Scaling Freecom will require an investment of time and effort that I unfortunately cannot make myself. If you have any experience with these things or have the time to develop a system for Freecom that would allow for scalability, you would be a great fit for Freecom.
