How it Started
A year ago I started going to the gym with no experience. To properly perform my exercises and follow my diet I had to do hours of researches since I didn't find a complete source of information that has everything I need and then I thought of Gymate.

Low Cost
The app uses firebase as backend with focus on offline first and because of the nature of the app the starting cost is so low and can get to 0$ since the app database can be pre-populated, the exercise steps video is hosted via YouTube and for the images you can use any free image hosting services.
How to use the app
If you are a gym enthusiast and want to publish the app posting your own content, you can publish Gymate as your own and get ad revenue.
You can also sell the app to gyms in your area and through out the world. Gymate will serve as a great asset to gyms helping them promote their gym by providing content to users. Gyms using their resources can add data (exercises, food, Q&A) with the help of the coaches they work with and using the equipment they have to shoot videos/images. Gymate have a gym page where gyms can add their services, social media links, location which might help getting more clients and with the notifications they can get in touch with the users by sending them notifications about new events and updates.
Future of the app
This is the first version of the app. I am planning to add more into this app to expand the services provided by the app. I am planning to make users able to create workouts and diets and follow their progress and give gyms and coaches to provide online coaching through out the app, and also add a supplements store plus more tools to help users in their fitness journey.
Of course you will benefit from full support including bug crushes and necessary updates.
Additional Notes
- The data is not included with the app, You can request a custom service to add data.
- Some of the resources used in the app (mainly the font family) is paid and you have to get the licence for it to avoid any copyright problems, or you can request to change the font with a font of your choice.
