Syde - Showcase Project

There is a problem in the arena of Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), which in theory provide users with a solution to the season-long commitments that classic fantasy sports leagues demand. However, there is still a void for the casual fan that doesn’t wish to compete against the dominant fantasy grinders in complex games. That’s where SYDE comes in.    In the current DFS marketplace, millions of dollars are won every week, and much of the money is being won by a select group of competitors who are highly skilled at the game. SYDE is directed to casual sports fan and any fantasy player  who may be intimidated by the major players in DFS or may be transitioning to DFS from season long games. Our game is so simple that anyone can play. This is not to say we don't welcome the grinders. They can play SYDE too. They won't gain any advantage over the casual player, like they can on other sites.    SYDE was created for the daily fan, eliminating the need to build a team and manage a salary cap. Instead, we provide the pre-populated daily matchups, so all the user has to do is select the lineup that they think will score more fantasy points.    The process is simple: everyday, SYDE sends out a game (or a few games) via the app. Syde A versus Syde B. The player picks the side that they think will win – before the countdown clock expires – and wagers a simple denomination ($5 to win $9) on the pick. If the side chosen wins, winnings are received instantly.
