Welcome to Hypeturf, the social media platform built on the Hive blockchain that rewards users for posting and liking content, while the website management also earns rewards through beneficiary rewards on each post.

I share a belief that everyone should be fairly rewarded for the content they create, and that's I've built this platform that puts the power in the hands of the users.

But what exactly is the Hive blockchain?

Hive blockchain is a decentralized blockchain platform that allows users to create and share content while earning rewards in the form of Hive tokens.

Hive is open source and powered by a vibrant and engaged community of users who contribute to the platform by posting, upvoting, commenting, and curating content.

Beneficiary rewards: Hive powered website owners can earn rewards by setting up beneficiary rewards on each post made on the website(aside the ads revenue should the website choose to use ads monetization).

Though this is an optional feature in Hive source code itself, it can still be automatically set for individual websites should the owner choose to.

Hive token: Hive tokens are the native currency of the Hive blockchain and can be earned by creating and curating content, currently you can trade Hive tokens on exchanges like Binance, Blocktrades and Ionomy among others.

Binance: HIVE/USDT

Hive power: Hive power is a measure of a user's influence on the platform, which can be increased by holding and staking Hive tokens, the more Hive power a user holds the more rewards the user can get from upvoting.

It is recommended for every user to have at least 3 - 5 Hive Power in their wallets, this will help generate resource credits for easy posting on the website. Read more about resource credits in the next section.

Users earn Hive power alongside liquid HBD or Hive from posting and upvoting(liking/curating) content.

Resource credits: Resource Credits (RCs) are a measure of the computational resources available to a user on the Hive blockchain. RCs are necessary to perform certain actions on the blockchain, such as posting, commenting, and voting.

Every account on the Hive blockchain is allocated a certain amount of RCs based on the amount of Hive power they hold.

The more Hive power an account has, the more RCs it has available to use. RCs are replenished over time, and users can also purchase additional RCs if they need more resources than they have available.

RCs are designed to prevent spam and abuse on the Hive blockchain by limiting the number of actions a user can perform based on the amount of computational resources they have available.

This ensures that the blockchain remains stable and performs efficiently, even during times of high activity.

RCs are an important part of the Hive ecosystem and help to maintain the stability and efficiency of the blockchain.

Hive Backed Dollars: Hive Backed Dollars (HBD) are a stablecoin on the Hive blockchain, which are pegged to the US dollar and can be earned by creating and curating(upvoting) content.

HBD can be converted to Hive on either Hive internal market, Blocktrades, Ionomy and other exchanges listing HBD. Also, HBD is a stablecoin and the price is pegged to USD.

Powering up and down: Users can increase their influence on the platform by powering up their Hive tokens, or decrease it by powering down.

The more a user powers up the more Hive power they will hold, and the more Hive power a user holds the more rewards they can earn from upvotes.

It takes 13 weeks for an account to power down completely, so if a user wants to withdraw their Hive power stake it will be split into 13 different payments and paid out every 7 days.

Saving HBD with APR: Users can save their HBD and earn an annual percentage rate (APR) of interest.

Delegating for rewards: Users can delegate their Hive power to other users or projects in exchange for rewards.

Creating custom tokens: Community managers and website owners can create custom tokens native to their community or website on Hive blockchain to reward their community members and users for performing specific actions relative to that community, effectively creating their own cryptocurrencies.

Current Features

Currently on the website the following features are implemented, Hive/HBD wallet, voting, reblogging, posting and commenting, following and unfollowing, and posting to communities. 

All operations on the website can be done with either Keychain for PC or Posting key.

Some other features that could be added in the future to improve the UX includes keychain for mobile(which eliminates any need for keys), account notifications, site interaction points(like ecency.com) among others.  

Problem Statement

Despite the potential for earning rewards on social media platforms, such as Youtube, many users struggle to earn a fair and consistent income for their content.

This is due in part to the centralized nature of these platforms, which allows for uneven distribution of rewards and limited control over content by the content creators.

Furthermore, the current social media landscape is dominated by a few large corporations, which have the power to control what content is seen and promoted.

I can provide post sales support for up to 3 months after the sale answering whatever questions you might hive and actively helping with implementing customizations or preferences laid out by you.

Also the sale comes with an official Hive and Twitter accounts with the username hypeturf and a community server on Discord of the same name (though not much users in the channel). Most Hive based projects use Discord chatrooms to connect users.

Because the website is new, it is currently not generating revenue.

It did earn revenue for a while after I launched about a year ago, however after I took it offline due to lack of funding the revenue being generated stopped.
