REST API for secondhand book selling application
It is about selling secondhand books by posting them as ad in the website. Users need to be authenticated to be able to share books. Once shared, book will be active during one month. There are two types of books: normal and premium. Premium books are paid and shown in the top in homepage. Both premium and normal books are shown to the users randomly so that everyone's ad will be seen fairly by website users. For making the ad VIP, paypal is integrated. Once premium duration finished, it can be activated again. Books can be filtered by category, sorted by price, popularity, and rating (based on reviews). Project is built using Node.js for the the REST API, and for administrative management django integrated into the same project. Application is fully dockerized, and project setup is solid enough to manage different environments like local, development, testing, and production. Requirements, dependencies have been specified clearly. You can get the application up and running with just one command in mac OS, Linux, and Windows operating system without any problem. It can be easily integrated with CI/CD pipeline and deployed to the server in no time.
