Dienstenplanner.com is an automated scheduler that helps groups of dentists to distribute emergency shifts fairly. The central overview ensures a single overview of all shifts, and the email and SMS based reminders make sure no shift is ever forgotten. I handles complex scenarios such as part-time vs full-time scheduling, availability on specific working days, vacations, shift-intensity distribution, etc.

Next step: <ol><li>Grow in the existing market: There are approximately 4000-5000 dentists in the Netherlands, capturing 10% brings revenue to 2.5k USD per month. As this was passive income for me, I haven't pursued additional sales.</li><li>Expand to English/German speaking markets: Requires translating the application, but could reach a much larger set of dentists. (Note: I'm unsure how emergency shifts work outside the Netherlands, where it's common to rotate emergency shifts across all dentists in a region)</li><li>Expand to other (hard) rostering opportunities: e.g. on-call scheduling, pharmacies, nurses, etc. This will require engineering work as the current domain model is designed around dentists.</li></ol>

Reason for selling

I am selling this project because I am busy with other things and want to focus my attention elsewhere. I've run this as a passive side business for the last ±8 years. However, the application could use an update (Rails 5 to Rails 7), and the UI has become somewhat dated.
