Feedback from satisfied students can be found on the Youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/eagerbudilenko (the students are speaking Russian) Unlike all ineffective online simulators and useless mobile applications, this is the only Russian-language online tool, using which, everyone who is older than 12-13 years old can start from absolute zero to reach the HSK3 level (an average level of Chinese for foreigners with a vocabulary of more than 1000 words and grammatical constructions) by the LIVE learning lessons together with two tutors using a special methodology. The platform is built so that the student practices listening through a large number of audio exercises and files; writing while doing a lot of writing exercises; reading in written assignments; speaking, including with a teacher and using special know-how techniques; and does it in a comfortable way using a computer, tablet, mobile phone at their free time together with their main job. The platform provides materials for meetings with a tutor, as well as materials and exercises for self-practice after meetings with a teacher. HISTORY OF CREATION The idea of ​​creating a platform came to me after 10 years of teaching Chinese. To write the code, I found programmers from Armenia, as they offered the lowest price. But as a result, this greatly influenced the quality, since many bugs were made in the process of writing the code, which I had to constantly monitor and control their every step. MY MISTAKES After 1.5-2 years of development, I finally managed to start filling the platform, which took all of my time for 6-8 months, so I did not have time to think over a marketing strategy. As a result, when I entered the market with my MVP, my competence as a Chinese teacher was not enough to launch a successful startup business. And, since there was no money left to hire a professional promotion specialist, I began the process of a long search for an effective promotion channel. As a result, after finding 10-15 students, an active learning process began, which took all of my time for another 1 year, which distracted me from sales again. This was my main mistake: instead of entrusting sales and promotion to an experienced specialist, I began to deal with them myself, thinking that a good product would sell itself. Thus, jumping from sales to teaching back and forward, I have been moving for the last 3 years. And, surprisingly, the 90% of entire turnover that was made during last 2,5 years (which you can check in the files attached) was created by these 15-20 students, whom I found at the beginning. I tried to be everywhere and do everything myself, which is not the best idea for this business, which is why I was very tired of such a tedious and inefficient activity. But, since students have an LTV of several years with an average net income of $83 per month, I can only imagine how high this business can reach in the hands of an individual (or group of specialists) with experience in promotion, financial planning and hiring high-quality employees. That is why I decided that it was time for me to sell this business to someone who sees a future in the online Chinese learning market and who is not ready to spend years creating a learning system, but is looking for a teaching platform that has already been proven on real satisfied students. CURRENT STATE OF A PLATFORM Today, the entire platform is completely ready for use with minimal technical support from a technical specialist and an admin. I am ready to provide post-sales training on how to use the platform for as long as needed. If necessary, I could also continue to create additional teaching materials for advanced students being an employee. The platform is made entirely in Russian: all teaching materials, interface, exercise templates, training videos, dictionary. But if you see perspective not only in the Russian-speaking market and want to create an English version based on it, then it will take NOT 1.5 years and $30,000 to develop + 2 years to create the material, but instead about 6 months to translate all the materials into English and not more than $10,000. CLIENTS The duration of studying varies from 1.5 to 3 years, depending on the interest and tasks. At the moment, most of the students I have found are people over 24 years old, living in the former USSR, who are interested in oriental culture, have been abroad before, are interested in self-development and have an average income or above.
