CAMPR | precise project management CAMPR is an Open Source enterprise project management software. The tool is organized in workspaces and consists of a total of 16 modules offering support throughout the entire project life cycle. A brief overview of different modules and functionalities: Documentation: It all starts with the project contract in which the framework (Objectives, deliverables, timeframe,..) of the project is determined and signed by the leading PM and the Sponsor. You can generate status reports at any time during the project. The module provides a real-time view of the condition and progress of the project in form of a PDF report. To formally complete the project you have the opportunity to create a project close out report for lessons learned workshops or similar. Scheduling You can break your project down into phases and tasks and set milestones. The different timelines are documented: base, forecast and actual dates. This feature helps your project controlling and in case you have comparable projects in the future, increases the scheduling accuracy. Your schedule can also be displayed (and edited) in a Gantt chart. Teamwork The module “Organization” allows you to set up your team and manage communication. You can create an organizational chart and allocate general project roles. Beside project roles, you can also allocate roles (RASCI principle) for single tasks. The RASCI module provides a quick overview of all roles and responsibilities within all tasks and allows you to manage them as well.
