ARKNet Overview

ARKNet is a private messenger for your team, clients, and partners. Your own virtual private network will unite all your contacts and provide you decentralized and fault-tolerant tool for working and communicating.Secure messaging, file sharing, and calls for easy communication of team.


With minimal functionality, ARKNet will already become an effective tool for you and your business, helping to save and secure your data. The Self-hosted server can be hosted on a regular laptop and, thanks to the platform architecture, does not require constant online presence.


All your data is stored in AES-256 encrypted format. And any interaction in your private network, starting from the ping of the node and ending with various options for user interaction, occurs through end-to-end encryption. Each new data exchange session receives unique AES-256 keys that are deleted immediately after the session ends.



Main available functions:

• Messaging

• Audio calls

• Exchange files of any format and size

• Search for and add new users via a private network.

Why I’m Passionate About This Project

I started this project as a usual experiment on using my own encryption method in a serverless web chat, and grew ARKNet to a full-fledged beta version of a decentralized fault-tolerant platform – with a lot of private subnets, reliable encryption, and so far with little, but quite sufficient functionality for first users.

I hope that with interested in my idea and like-minded people we will be able to fully develop and unlock the full potential of ARKNet.
