IndieSeller - Sell Project

IndieSeller (formally side.to) is a Starter Website for launching a digital marketplace for buying/selling projects as well as domains. It was built in about 3 months and went live in February, but did not garner many users because it was not properly launched and due in part to its lack of marketing and the fact that I've been focused on pursuing other projects. Here's some core features: Full Stripe Integration: You won't have to worry about handling payments as it's all automated. When a buyer purchases a listing, the listing is automatically marked as sold, IndieSeller receives its success fee and the seller will receive the rest. It'll then be the responsibility of the seller to deliver. Multiple Revenue Streams: There are 2 ways IndieSeller receives an income: through featured slots and through success fees.With a featured slot, a seller can pay $50 to have their post stickied to the front page for 30 days. For listings that sell for over $50, the site takes an 8% success fee. You can see how this all works here. Admin Panel: Listings need to be manually approved before being publicly visible on the site. You'll be able to see a lot of important information on it. Scalable: The site was written with quality code and is built with a MeteorJS/MongoDB backend, so it is designed to scale. Search/Categories: Users can sort through categories and search for particular listings Clean User Interface The website is very clean with subtle animations and has a great custom UI making it easy for everyone to find their way around. Configurable: Almost everything is easily configurable, from the UI to success fees, to categories, etc. The only thing that would need to be implemented would be an ability to offer on a listing. At the moment, users can only BIN listings.
