What does your business do?

MyMUN was established in 2014 to connect an international community of Model UN simulation attendees. Since then, the platform has grown to 150,000 registered users, €100,000 yearly recurring revenue, and is the standard, go-to place for young people around the world looking to participate in such conferences.

Our users are highly educated, driven, career-oriented students from around the world, looking to boost their CV with conference attendances, showcasing their oratory skills and other soft skills such as public speaking, negotiation and foreign languages.

The centerpiece of our platform is the conference database and the conference management system, our main product, which connects conference administrators and conference attendees in a marketplace-like fashion.


How does your business make money?

We operate on a marketplace model, charging a processing fee to all transactions (conference tickets, etc). In addition, we monetize through selling visibility-boosting packages to conferences, as well as AdSense. As a registered insurance broker, we also sell international travel health insurance, and earn affiliate commissions on flights, hotels and city tours.
