Mobile ready SaaS platform for flight disruption claiming.
Euporean citizen or people travelling to and from Europe are capable of asking refund from airlines if their flights has been disrupted. This is called European Flights Refund. In this platform, Flighter, a passenger can claim her/his refund from 125€ up to 600€. The fee a platform usually takes to claim a passenger’s refund is 25%! That’s huge right? That means if a passenger that uses Flighter to make a claim and receive a 600€, then the Flighter own 150€. For a single passenger! The average claim amount in the industry is 400€ and up to now less than 2% actually receive their flight compensation because they are not aware of their rights. In this project, I have implemented all the possible claim flows, that have been designed and validated from two lawyers in Estonia and Greece. The platform is around 70% done. It’s written in Python (Django) and React (Gatsby). It is mobile first, meaning that you can penetrate mobile and desktop market in once.
