I believe two things make acquiring BaseTemplates a great choice: the right time and opportunities for scaling. The right time. The initial idea behind BaseTemplates was to create a platform with high-quality, industry-specific presentation templates (real estate presentation template, investor deck template, and so on). However, based on our core audience and market trends is much wiser to create a platform with templates that help startup founders launch their companies faster and cheaper. Those are pitch deck template (our bestselling product), financial forecast template (coming next), business plan template, website template, and others. Creating those products shouldn’t a big hustle after all those are just templates (as opposed to standalone software).
