About South African news website - Current Affairs ZA
A South African news website monetized via Google AdSense with potential to grow
Hi! Thank you for your interest in this project. Current Affairs ZA is a South African news website established in 2019 and monetized with Google AdSense. It publishes daily news and has some evergreen content, and has a combined social media following of around 20,000. Its Facebook page was recently monetized and has made $45 so far. Year to date, the website has averaged around 24,000 pageviews per month from approximately 18,000 visitors per month. Its peak was 500,000 pageviews in August 2021. These are WordPress stats. Google Analytics stats can also be made available. Year to date (1 Jan to 1 Nov), it has generated just over $2000 in Google AdSense revenue. Earlier revenue was much higher than this, particularly in 2021. I am looking to sell because I have relocated from South Africa to Kenya, and I lack funding to grow it further. With the right SEO tweaks and investments as well as journalist/writer hires, the website has the potential to become a notable news publisher in South Africa in the short term. Thank you for considering this project! Kind regards, Juma
