About CertTrack — Subcontractor Compliance & Document Tracking
B2B SaaS for construction compliance and subcontractor document tracking.
The Problem: Construction companies are legally required to keep subcontractor licenses, insurance, and medical certificates up to date. Failing to do so results in heavy fines. Most companies still use Excel to manage this. The Solution: CertTrack is a web app that centralizes these documents, calculates expiration states automatically, and sends email alerts before a document expires. Tech Stack: Built with Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind 4, and Supabase (with RLS for multi-tenancy). Uses Vercel Cron Jobs for automation and has Stripe + Resend integrations ready to be hooked up. Current State: Pre-revenue. No paying customers yet. The app is built and running locally (the Vercel deploy is also live). The code compiles cleanly with zero TypeScript errors. The Stripe account is not included (the buyer must create their own). Why I'm selling: I am a solo dev and I built the technical architecture. However, I lack the B2B sales network and time to sell this to construction companies in Portugal. This is perfect for an agency or developer with connections in this sector.
Next step: <p>The buyer can launch immediately and start cold-emailing small construction companies in Portugal. Future growth opportunities include adding a portal for subcontractors to upload their own documents, expanding to other European markets with similar compliance laws (like Spain), and offering a white-label version for construction consultancies.</p>
