Return Math - Sell Project

About Return Math
Decide each return by what it really costs: return, refund & keep, or exchange
Return Math is a returns decision engine for small online stores and dropshippers. For each return request it works out the real cost of three outcomes (a full return, a refund where the customer keeps the item, or an exchange), counting the return label, handling and the item's resale value. Then it recommends the cheapest one that fits your policy. It's for stores where shipping a $12 item back costs more than the item is worth. Live site: https://returnmath.floot.app (product page), https://returnmath.floot.app/demo (sample-mode demo), https://returnmath.floot.app/buyers (buyer info) What works today: Return request inbox with reason, item condition and the customer's claim history Per-request cost breakdown: refund, label, handling, and resale value by condition (unopened, opened, damaged) Recommendation: return, refund & keep, or exchange; when an outcome makes you money it shows "you come out ahead" Policy controls: keep-it threshold, restocking %, a cap on claims per customer, exchange-first switch; recommendations update live Repeat-claimer flag, so a customer over the cap can't keep the item Approve, override and approve-all, with a running "saved vs. returning everything" total Product landing page, buyer page and a guided sample demo with reset; mobile-friendly layout The gap: "let them keep it" rules mostly sit inside full returns platforms (Loop about $155-$340/mo, ReturnGO about $147-$297/mo, AfterShip Returns from $19/mo for 20 returns). Small stores don't need a portal; they need the decision maths for each request, plus a guard against repeat claimers. (Competitor prices checked 1 Nov 2026; please recheck.) Included: full Floot project and source code; brand name, design and all page copy; the cost model and policy engine. Not included: domain, customers, revenue, mailing list or social accounts, Shopify App Store listing, live store connection (the demo uses sample data in the browser). Running costs: low. Front end only today, with no paid APIs or third-party subscriptions. Growth ideas: pull return requests and order data from Shopify and push the decision back as a refund or exchange; add sign-up and billing at a flat $15-$29/mo; list on the Shopify App Store aimed at dropshippers; add per-supplier return addresses and costs. Honest notes: no customers and no revenue yet. You're buying a working product and a head start, not a business with traction. The recommendations are only as good as the costs and resale rates you enter; check them against your own store before relying on them. Not affiliated with Shopify, Loop, ReturnGO, AfterShip or any carrier.
