StartupScout AI is a working MVP for job seekers. Users search a city, and the app finds nearby companies with public Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby job boards, then shows their open roles on a map with links to the original application pages. Users can upload a PDF resume, see skill-based matches, get an AI breakdown of fit (using their own API key), chat with an assistant that answers only from stored jobs, and track applications through six stages. Includes an admin dashboard for managing companies, job sources, duplicates and expired jobs. Included: full source code, setup README, database schema, discovery modules for three job-board types. Not included / honest limits: no users or revenue, no password reset or email verification, no rate limiting, live city discovery needs testing in your environment, scanned PDFs unsupported. Deployment needs a server with a persistent disk (or a swap to Turso for Vercel).
