Drip: private subscription finder (runs offline) - Sell Project

A privacy-first subscription and recurring-charge finder that runs entirely in the browser. Drop in a bank or card statement (CSV, TSV, OFX or QFX) and it shows every recurring charge, price rises, forgotten yearly renewals and what bills next. No server, no account, no upload and no dependencies: open the Network tab and it stays empty. WHAT YOU GET Parser that infers delimiter, header row, column roles and date format for common bank CSV/TSV layouts, plus an OFX/QFX parser Merchant normaliser (merchants.js) that cleans messy card descriptors into readable names and categories Recurrence detector using the median gap and median absolute deviation, so skipped months, retries and late postings do not break it; calendar-month billing handled separately Alerts for price rises, upcoming yearly renewals, small long-running charges, overlapping services, charges that stopped and unusually large one-offs Household bills (rent, utilities, insurance, phone, loans) kept separate from subscriptions Built-in demo with synthetic data, clean responsive UI, privacy and terms pages, single-folder deploy TECH Vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Zero dependencies, zero network requests, no build step. Works offline from a local folder or on any static host. WHY IT IS WORTH BUYING Rocket Money, Copilot and Monarch all ask for bank logins. Privacy-first users want the arithmetic without the trust. It suits a low-priced one-time download (for example on Gumroad) or a free lead magnet for a personal-finance site. TO LAUNCH Rebrand, add a landing page and your own checkout or embed it on a finance content site, and deploy the folder to any static host. Copies made then remain MIT-licensed, so exclusivity over that version cannot be guaranteed. No monetization is built in (no paywall, licence check or ads). No users or revenue. The one-time download price is only a suggestion; no checkout or unlock exists in the code. The name 'Drip' is used by other companies (e.g. drip.com) and has not been trademark-cleared. Plan to rebrand. Tested with synthetic statements and the built-in demo. Not yet tested against every bank's real CSV/OFX export, and the OFX path was only code-reviewed.
