About Money Actually
See which car, rental or client makes money, next to your budget and net worth
Money Actually is a budget and net worth tracker that also shows what each car, rental or client earns. It is built for money that doesn't all arrive as one paycheck: a car on a car-sharing app such as Turo, a rental, a freelance client. What it shows Profit and break-even for each car, rental or client. A year report for each one, grouped the way Schedule C and E group them. Net worth with every debt counted: the car loan sits next to the car. A left-to-spend budget with paid and still-coming bills, plus subscriptions found in your transactions. Most money apps flatter you. Money Actually reports, and it says when it cannot verify a number. What it won't do Move money. There is no transfer button anywhere. See your bank password. Bank sign-in goes through Plaid, so the password never reaches Money Actually's servers. Send anything to AI unless you type a question to Slip, the in-app assistant. Slip can be turned off. No ads, no data selling. You can delete everything from inside the app or on the web. Where it runs and what it costs It links US banks only, through Plaid: up to five banks, with every account at each one. It runs on the web, iPhone (https://apps.apple.com/app/money-actually/id6813643415) and Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.moneyactually.twa). There is a 7-day free trial with no card needed on the web, then $6.99/month, or $59.99/year on the web. It is an alternative to Monarch Money and to Mint, which has shut down. I'm showcasing it for feedback, and two answers would help most: does the per-asset report match how you think about your own side income, and what in the demo is unclear? Questions are welcome in the SideProjectors inbox or at support@moneyactually.app.
